My Weekend Project: NEW Office Space

Hi there!

I’m a really happy girl today. For quite some time now I’ve been fantasizing about transforming the loft area in my house to a functioning home office/personal sanctuary. This weekend I finally got my wish!

I’m going to share the before (please don’t judge) and the after.

And the new and improved….

PRETTY, BRIGHT, ORGANIZED office space, yay!!

I’m thrilled to have this new set-up for Fridays when I work from home, and for blogging and brainstorming whenever I feel like it. And this new space cost me just a tad over $250. Gotta love Ikea.

If you like what you see, here is what I used:

This space is definitely still a work in progress. I have so many books, I will definitely need to purchase another shelf. I also want a comfy chair to read in, and several inspiring pieces of art to hang on the wall. But I’m off to a good start and the organized space is making a huge difference in the way I work. I truly believe that a cluttered space breeds a cluttered mind, and an organized space breeds a clear and peaceful mind.

Here is some of what I want to add down the line….
